Do you need help identifying what speech and voice areas are in need of development?

Don’t let your foreign accent interfere with listeners' comprehension of your message.  Success starts here with an evaluation of your current skills!

You don’t have to aspire to be a professional speaker making keynote speeches to achieve a new level of speaking that is easy to understand in the workplace. Whether you have an audience of one person or a roomful of people, clear communication is the best way to guarantee that your listeners will listen, understand and follow through with your requests.  To be sure that you are being understood, take this evaluation to receive an intelligibility score from an expert.   You will learn if you are understandable 90%, 80%, or 70% or less of the time based on the speech sample you provide.

Find out first hand from a skilled speech coach, what areas you shine in and what areas you need to work on.  Get feedback from a speech expert who will give you honest feedback about your speaking and give you one practical solution to begin working on immediately that will have the most impact in your speech!

Based on a recording (you'll be told what to say), you will receive expert advice about the following speech areas:

  • Pronunciation of vowels
  • Pronunciation of consonants
  • Intonation/Inflection
  • Rate of speech (too fast vs. too slow)
  • Pausing
  • Rhythm (choppy vs. smooth)
  • Loudness
  • Pitch
  • Vocal quality
  • Resonance
  • Grammar
  • Vocabulary
  • Conciseness

You will also receive your overall intelligibility rating.

Right now, I’m inviting you to apply on-line so we can make a phone recording immediately!  Once you purchase this program, you will be sent an email giving you the call in information and what you need to say.  Once our professional listens, you will receive an email that identifies your 1) your speaking strengths, 2) you development needs, and 3) advice on how to develop one area of need to make your speech the very best that it can be.  You can begin improving immediately because you’ll also receive a lesson plan on one of the areas.

Is it that easy?  Yes!

Any goal that we establish will be simple and small.  The smaller the goal towards a larger goal, the better because smaller goals are easier to reach!  (Have you ever set a goal of changing a behavior only to discover a few days into it that you were struggling with keeping motivated?  Perhaps your goal was too big and you couldn’t see progress because of it.)

You’ll be able to use simple, everyday techniques and strategies to achieve the goal that won’t require special books or equipment.  (But if you have a tape recorder or video camera, you’ll be able to monitor progress.)  If you decide to receive additional training from me, that’s your choice but there’s no reason why you can’t implement these simple, practical techniques if you have the desire and discipline to practice.  Like anything you want to change, new habits require persistence. Here are some examples:

Anurag didn't put stress on syllables in words.  Consequently, his way of speaking sounded flat and even.  He was very difficult to understand!  Once Anurag learned the techniques for creating stressed syllables, he listened and learned to identify stress in many multisyllable words and practiced them by imitating the voice on the recording.  As he became better at this skill, he was asked to keep a diary of words that were used in his environment.  He practiced his word list daily and incorporated these words into his daily conversation with ease.

"I didn't realize how different the words sounded until I put the correct stress on the words.  I know my colleagues have an easier time understanding me now."

Sasha didn't realize how her fast rate contributed negatively to her speech.  Because she had a good command of the language, she thought she could afford to talk faster.  The problem was that her ability to use proper inflection and her mouth opening while speaking were compromised.  She lacked projection and sounded flat making her more difficult to understand.  By practicing exaggerated mouth opening while speaking, Shasha's vocal projection improved significantly.  She also had the time to use more vocal variety.

"People no longer ask me to repeat myself when I speak.  I enjoy this very much!"

There are many simple solutions to everyday speech problems that will improve intelligibility.  These solutions are simple but making new skills automatic is really the more difficult  After all, changing a habit is an effort.  But with perseverance and determination, anything is possible!  Imagine what it will be like when you speak at your next meeting or give your next presentation!  You can make these changes one habit at a time and wow your listeners!

So, if you are thinking, “Maybe I should,” please do!  You simply can’t lose.  Work at your own pace but pace your own time!  You won’t be disappointed making changes that will provide you with professional satisfaction!  You can't find an evaluation from a professional at such a great rate anywhere!
