Keep Your Voice Natural Under Stress

 

Do you get stressed out when you speak to a group of people? Stress can create undesirable vocal symptoms. The most common voice symptoms associated with stress include: a tight voice, a breaking voice, a weak voice, and a shrill, high-pitched voice. If you experience these symptoms (or any others) in stressful situations, try the following exercises before speaking:

  1. Concentrate on deep breathing.
  2. Initiate a yawn and then sigh. (Yawning is very relaxing.)
  3. Hum a song. (Also, naturally relaxing.)

Remember that your listeners want you to succeed and that being well-rehearsed helps take the stress out of speaking in front of a group!

think people in exhaustion, any voice can make a person feel very fidgety, sometimes, deep breathing or yawning will feel relaxed.

when i speak english,i feel very neverous, i an trying to find a way to overcome it,but i have not find an effective way to do it. today , i know this way, it is taking a deep breath before you speak english,and it is new for me ! i am interested in it and i will use it in my study and try to improve myself.Hum a song is a good way to relax myself! i also use it to make me comfortable.

when i speak english, my vioce is very slow.i try to change it,but i have not find an effective way to change! today ,i know a new way to help me from this, i fell very happy!It is taking a deep breath when you feel neverous that can help you to control yourself and you can speak loud as possible as you can! Ihave never had such experience.After today i wil use it in my study!i hope it can help me overcome my nervous and help me improving my english! besides,Hum a song is also a good way to study ,especially when i feel unhappy,i like wear earphone to listing to music ,shortly after, i will fell better ,it is a good way !althought i do not like to sing a song, but i like listing music to relax myself !

Whenever I will be nervous when I podium, the audience did not dare to stand under, although the teachers have said that if the tension which hit the podium a yawn, take a deep breath and so on, but once on stage I'll forget all the things before speaking a

This passege is tell us that if we say something ,we should keep our voice natural,and it give us some exemples to practice,then we can be a good speaker
